Exclusive International Gateway (EIG)


The EIG is a technologic platform provided by GEM-TELCO to be installed in the country with a complete Service Management where it ensures Government and/or Telecom Regulator enforce the licensing fees and protect the country against fraudulent operators. This service also ensures that the government has an independent source of statistics that enables easier decision-making and regulatory policy enforcement.

Business Model

GEM-TELCO has a modular architecture to be customized for needs of each country. The solution proposed by GEM-TELCO include:

  • Complete EIG infrastructure including all the investment needed to setup the platforn. A private entity will be handling all investment required with management control basing the structure on revenue share with the government within a licensed period of 10 to 15 years with the BOT agreement.
  • Interconnection with the Local Telecom Operators and International Carriers. The interconnection will be outlined by service level agreements that maintain the best quality of service according to the international standards and norms.
  • Full management and control over the EIG in coordination with the respective entity of the Government. This will include placing experts to setup and manage the company in country, recruit a qualified local team to operate in addition to remote supervision and control through our 24/7/365 network operation center and operating through the best standards applied in the industry.

International Gateway Quality of Service:

  • Hourly / Daily / Weekly / Monthly / Yearly.
  • Percentage of Calls that were made
  • Percentage of Calls that were connected was answered
  • Average call duration. People spend less time on the call if the quality is bad.
